Outstanding Youth Awards

The Children’s Services Council of St. Lucie County is now accepting applications for its 2022 Outstanding Youth Awards to celebrate youth who are making a difference in our community. Children’s Services Council will award up to five current High School seniors, who are participating in our funded programs with a $1,000 scholarship. Each winner must have demonstrated outstanding skills in leadership, achievement, and/or community service.

To apply, the following criteria must be met:

  • Applicant must be graduating from a St. Lucie Public School.
  • Applicant must be a graduating high school senior.
  • Applicant must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
  • Applicant must have attended or volunteered at a program funded by Children’s Services Council.

The 2021-2022 Scholarship Guide is provided by the Education Foundation. The guide lists all scholarships available through the Foundation and many other local scholarships, including our Outstanding Youth scholarship.

The 2023 Children's Services Council of St. Lucie County Outstanding Youth award is offered in partnership with the St. Lucie County Education Foundation. 



Congratulations to our 2022 Outstanding Youth scholarship winners! Each of the graduates below was chosen based on their leadership, volunteerism and/or community service along with their participation in one of our funded programs. A $1,000 scholarship is available to each of them through the St. Lucie County Education Foundation for any pursuits they choose after high school. In addition, each winner received a Lenovo Thinkpad laptop to support their education. Congratulations Sofia, Essence, Bella, Christian and Whitney!
